    Re-using Immediately

I only pitch on the cake if it's a small to large beer. (brew the under 5, then use that cake for the 9%). and that's it since the second usually stresses the yeast. that said, I have never tested this since I make enough bad beer as it is.

How do you clean up after brewing

when I start the boil after mashing, i take the grain bag out of my 10 gallon cooler and put it in the plastic bag the grains came in, turn it and empty the grains, tie the plastic bag and throw it in the trash, shake the bag out (outside) and then rinse in the tub, and hang it up to dry. Rinse...

    Purée added dry to secondary?

I believe so. I just did a puree beer (just bottled, it's not ready yet) and siphoned on top of it instead of adding it to the fermenter and splashing all over.

cryo hops/lupulin powder dry hopping question

I use citra Lupullin powder quite often and love it. Both whirlpool and dry hop with it. I find better results when whirlpooling at around 140. The best beer was in a 9.02%, at first there was a little burn which I associated to the lupullin powder, but in about a week it went away, while...

    My ingredients have been pre-determined...

Good Choice on the biscuit in my opinion. I think the grain bill is good, might add 1 lb flaked wheat.... The hops i would do a little differently. I'd First wort hop with Motueka, .75 oz 2 minutes left: 1 oz motukea, 1oz cascade 1oz lemondrop hopstand at 140-150 degrees for 20 minutes: 1 oz...

First time brew - high temperature

Yep, it'll be beer. if anything, it's a good practice for bottling, making sure your sanitation methods are good, and to see if you oxidize during bottling. I like to chill to fermentation temperatures, not just pitching temperatures. if i am pitching at 60, I try to chill to 60...
