I am in the process of getting my parts together to build a controller like this one. My question is should I go with a 16x16x8 and use kals layout in case I want to expand it down the road or save a few dollars and go with a smaller enclosure. It would save $50 to go with a 12x12x6

I plan on a pid for the hlt and a cooler for the mlt with out a element and using the dspr1 to control my bk. And that's kinda my question do I wire the dspr1 as it were a pid? Not sure if the wiring would be the same as a pid or not.

How would I wire this up Should I just wire it up like a pid without the temp probe. I am trying to build a controller like this . I have a copy of kals electric brewery and planned on using that as a starting point and trim out all the extra parts I will not be using but not sure how to...

Thanks for the input guys looks like I am going to be ordering soon can't wait to start brewing again been out of it for a few years and miss it. Not that I can do all grain in my house is even better. Any other input will be appreciated.

Ok thanks for the input on them. Now what does everyone prefer there bcs or the pid. I think I am leaning toward there pid would rather have it all info on the control box and not have to go to a web site to set up everything. my luck my computer would freeze up half way thru my day.
