Need some help wiring Inkbird to replace thermostat

Raouliii, I owe you a beer! I got so hung up on the error that I didn't think about hooking up the temp probe. That fixed it! Thanks for the help everyone!

Need some help wiring Inkbird to replace thermostat

The ITC1000 shows the error. Just tried connecting black and red wires to the cold side and got the same Er/alarm. Even took the cold side out of the circuit, connected red and black together to verify compressor still turns on (it does), and the ITC1000 still shows Er/alarm with only power...

Need some help wiring Inkbird to replace thermostat

After sleeping on it and reviewing this while on my lunch break, I think I may see the error I made. I connected the green and red wires to the cooling switch of the ITC1000. I should have connected the black and the red wires from my understanding. I'll try and rewire this when I get home...

Need some help wiring Inkbird to replace thermostat

I have a GE 5.0cuft freezer I'm working on converting to a keezer. I bought a Inkbird ITC1000 controller for temperature control. I removed the factory thermostat and attempted to wire in the Inkbird in it's place, but no luck- it powers on, but reads "Er" and alarms out. I used the...

    Just another coffin keezer

Good to know, that's what I was planning on doing as well. :rockin::tank:

My build - reclaimed cypress, granite top, & wine rack

Looks awesome! Sounds like a great neighbor, he have any more of that cypress to spare? You know, since he's so anxious to get rid of it... :D

    Just another coffin keezer

Looks good, any pictures of the inside? Most interested in how you routed your lines into the coffin box. Did you use a fan or anything to circulate air into the box, any issues with foaming?

    Nitro Beers, Other Than Stout

I just read that e-book myself. I'd be really interested in hearing a first hand account of someone trying the nitro coffee for the first time. I've yet to try one but I love coffee and I know nitro would be a perfect delivery for a good brew. I am building a keezer right now, original plans...

help selecting frezer or fridge for 2 pin lock kegs+10lb tank

I just bought a GE 5.0cuft that will fit 2 cornys and a 5lb tank, but I'm pretty sure it's got room for another 5gal beside it. What about running 2 tanks, one for each keg? Is that an absurd idea? I'm new to kegging so I'm still stumbling thru the design process myself.

    Rustic Keezer Build

That's exactly the premise I used when I sold my wife on the project! She said as long as it looks like a piece of furniture, I can do whatever I want. Now I just wish I had more room to fit something bigger than a 5.0cuft keezer :D

    Rustic Keezer Build

Thanks for the tips. I have an angle grinder, I'll grab a cutting wheel for the tin for sure. I've tried to cut stuff like that before with handheld tin snips and it just isn't worth the hassle. I've only seen the galvanized stuff at the local Home Depot, but I am also going to make a run by...

    Rustic Keezer Build

Nice work! So I don't want it to seem like I'm ripping off your idea, but I have been planning a more rustic style keezer myself and wanted to use the tin panels like you did as well. Could you explain a little more how you weathered it using the muriatic acid? I like the end result. I'm...

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Brewed up a Kolsch this weekend, right now it's sitting in my new fermenter (wine fridge, nothing fancy) at a solid 60 degrees.

show us all your fermentation closets/chambers here

Wow compared to some of these awesome builds mine almost isn't worth showing. But its simple and it does the job for me. Magic Chef wine fridge, no temp controller yet but I plan to modify it for better temp control, and add a circulation fan for more stable temps. So far it holds as cold as...

    Mini fridge shelves

Instead of replacing the shelves, you could reinforce them. I wonder if several small diameter steel rods (1/4 maybe? I've seen em in the metal section at HD) could be zip-tied in place to provide extra strength? Just cut to length with a hacksaw and secure with the zip ties, I would think...

Help me out, Danby kegerator/keg value?

A friend has a Danby kegerator and a keg for sale. Ready to go, everything included (C02 bottle, all fittings etc). Only issue is the lines need to be cleaned and/or replaced. He's asking $200 for all of it, is this a good deal? Is this a 1/6 barrel keg? Does anyone know if a 6gal carboy...

Oops... added priming sugar too early.

So true to my usual form, I did something stupid... again. :drunk: Rewind to two weeks ago. Brew day for a Lagunitas IPA partial kit. Everything goes as planned, hit OG on the nose (1.068 as I recall), and had a solid fermentation at 59-61 degrees. Very happy with this as my last batch...
