    first time sanitizing bottles help quick

    I've bottled with using the dishwasher on high heat as sanitizating. It doesn't clean the bottles which is why I wash out each bottle as I pour.

    Pitching Temp Too Low?

    You will be fine, 68 is usually still within most ale fermenting temps. Even still pitching cold will just increase the lag before you start to see activity in the air lock.

    question about "flame out" addition

    I have used the muslin bag that comes with kits lately to put the hops in (grains in a nylon bag). It keeps most of the hops in the bags, but the rest is strained when I pour into the primary.
