Just bought the grains for zd, will brew it sometime this week! Loved hearing how everyone loved that recipe, and citra is my favorite hop so I'm really looking forward to it.

Awesome! Just picked up another pound. 17.99 for the pound, shipping/tax it came out to be 23.54. $1.46/oz...not bad. Great find!

**UPDATE** Let it sit on the citra hops in secondary for ~10 days and racked to a keg/force carbed/bottled with a blichmann beer gun. Tasted great! Must have just been a smelly fermentation! :mug: :ban:

I agree with the above about using magnum (I like to use warrior for the same reasons in my Citra IPA). However, I will say that I did a citra smash and used fwh'd the citra and it tasted wonderful. It's a lot more smooth using it like this, and you get more of the flavor and aroma imo. If...

Agreed on the pale. It's what made me start liking craft beers and remains my favorite to this day.
