How much is enough is always the thing with cinnamon. when in doubt,, go less. Cinnamon goes from 0 to yuck real quick

Racked off a stout hopped with Mount hood today. Stirred up the yeast (Windsor) and leftover beer into a nice slurry. Put that and 2 gallons of apple juice/cider into my 3 gallon carboy. Looked like a carboy full of chocolate milk. churning like a mad man 3 hours later. Hoping that...

how much does one actually hold? Do they handle full 5 gallon batches or do I need to cut down to 4 1/2? How much headspace do you really need?

When you are flipping the seals tight after bottling are the bottle tops and seals nice and dry? because you dont want them to be. Right before you snap them shut give them a blast of your sanitizer to help them seal tight.

Sick of my lids not sealing on my Ale pails. I got lids all over and none of them seems to seal tight any more. I'm not worried about my beer going bad, I know nothing is gonna get in there. But I miss that nice happy feeling you get when you look over and the airlock is chug chug chugging...

I know when we were kids we would put tea bags in with our cider crocks. Dont know why, But thats the way we were shown how to do it. If I happen to have some on hand I'll still put 1 or 2 in. Dont think that I ever really noticed anything different but I wasnt really lookin either.

yea pretty much done using Notty. 3 out of 4 of my last batches with it have not taken. I have waited 3 days on all of them and nothing. Repitched with 05 each time. Gonna stay with that
