It is the same as bottles. I don't know how long the beer will stay good after you crack it open. Mine doesn't make it very long! The longest was 3 weeks. I rack into the keg and try to wait 10 days before I taste.

Most people use them to take with them. They are like gold! I just bought 2 used ones for $120, which was the best price I could find.

I going from 2 to 4 taps. Do I need a regulator or could I just get 2 more Y splitters? Right now I have a 5# tank with a Y splitter.

I am on my 13th batch(first all-grain) and it has been in the primary for 7 days and it looks like nothing has fallen. I usually keep the wort in the primary for 5 to 7 days and the secondary for 7 to 14. Does all grain take longer to ferment and settle?
