Raleigh Area Group Grain Buy-Round 4

May not be a bad idea Walker. Today may be another brew day for me since I didn't realize I was off work until yesterday. That 1 sack may not last long once it gets here. I guess I need a recipe for a president's ale.

So, 55lbs of grain will fit in 2-5 gallon buckets? I was thinking it would take a trash can. I considered getting one of those outdoor cans and putting liners in it. I may wait until the grain is here to decide.

If we go to a second pallet, I will probably add another sack to my order. Waiting to see where we are once the new buyers are in and reelale's response.

If you want to pick one, I'll split it with you, as long as it's not 2 row.

Raleigh Area Group Grain Buy-Round 4

I might be talked into a second sack if someone wants to suggest another common base grain. Currently I'm getting 1 cm 2 row. This will definitely make my storage issue double. I can probably get away with storing 1 of them in my home office, but not both. Can I store this in my shed until it...

    St. Patrick's Day Green Beer

I'm skipping the green thing and just brewing an irish red ale. Maybe I'll put it in green bottles. Anyone know where to get 2 cases of green bottles, cheap?

I had every intention of bringing you guys more beer. Unfortunately, my DD was winning the last round of the poker game, and I couldn't get there. Plus, it was too damn cold to be outside. Next time you guys get together, I'm bringing my notebook so I can learn more about AG, if you'll...

I would have to say leffe. For some reason it's a beer I rarely drink, but when I do, it's really is refreshing.

    Hi from NC

Hi everyone, I'm new here and figured I'd introduce myself. I've been brewing for about a year, all extract so far. I'm getting really interested in all grain and understanding how different beer styles are formulated. My shining moment in brewing was definately the twisted enkel...

I wish I was close enough to Squamish, I could get some bottles and ride my bike. Excellent mountain biking area.
