    Cooler

My DIY, I bought this Glastender behind the bar cooler on Craig’s list for 350$. I did rebuilt the doors myself as the replacements are 700.00$ a piece!! and it is up and running. I need to build some wire racks for inside other than that my only limit is 290 long neck bottles of beer!!!

Three tier system is to allow for gravity liquid transfer. The flat rigs or 2 tier most likely have some sort of pumping system. Some of these are almost fully automatic with computer controlled temperature controlled valves. These types of rigs may seem complicated, some are, but the real...

Because to some, including me, it is also fun to build these rigs. Not having to lug around moms pot is nice also.

    Lock Help

You are probably correct, there is not a lot of resistance to the door, at this point, and it is not a flash freeze, so I am guessing it is not as bad as I envisioned. I was really just trying to lock my wife out of the stash!! You can see the picture she already sees it as a second fridge :)...

    Lock Help

That is a good idea, I still would want to buy a new one for the third drawer, and rekey the other two. It seems like a standard lock, any clue what this type of lock is called to research?

    Lock Help

I could order the part, but I was wondering if any had seen these around. As far as the teenagers, I am more worried about one of my 4 kids, under the age of 7 crawling in ad dying.

    Opinion time on cooler purchase.

I have an opportunity to purchase a 6 foot glass door commercial cooler. 1 extra foot for the external compressor, 7 feet total. What do you all think? Would this be a smart purchase or to big of a DIY? I went and took a look it seems to run fine, has 5 temp controls. Compressor fins are...

    Kegs with tops cut out?

I have tried with lots of oil and I have tried with nothing more than a drop. If you are making a hole in a keg (1/4 in), I think it is more important to have the bit rotate at the slowest speed you can get on a variable speed drill. If you think it will break the bit then step up the size a...

    Kegs with tops cut out?

I just guessed on where, both times it went well. For drilling I used a little oil, a small bit about 1/4in and then a large graduated bit. (not sure of the name.) It steps up in size the further you drill in, that will give you the perfect size hole. Drill it SLOW!!! you should see...
