    stopping fermentation?

Wouldn't cold crashing it to below 35 degrees F significantly slowing yeast activity; effectively stopping fermentation?

    Christmas Ale recipe feedback

Thanks for the feedback everyone. After reviewing it again, I think I'll remove the Centennial and Cascade due to the citrus qualities and replace it with a 1 oz Chinook at 60 min with a 10 or 5 min Hallertauer finishing. I'll also add 2 lbs of Munich to get that full, grainy, malty flavor...

    Christmas Ale recipe feedback

So I've been thinking about doing a Christmas Ale for some time now but I've been postponing it due to some other projects I want to finish first. However it's really getting down to the wire so I figured I might as well pull the trigger. I sat down with my recent brew last night, got a little...

1St AG batch this weekend 10/30/10

    The Great Pumpkin Pie Ale

I'm currently planning on brewing using this recipe. I've purchased the grain bill and I'm going to do it over the weekend. There are tons of other great pumpkin beer recipes out there but this one intrigued me with the "ginger snap" flavor. I've changed a few things due to availability...

    Brewmasters warehouse

This weekend they are moving locations. The new store is literally in the next shopping center over but they are probably backlogged a bit due to packing up everything and moving. I've never ordered anything online from them before. I always go into the store to talk to the owner and get my...
