    Summer Wheat beer idea... thoughts?

My thoughts would be: Nix the irish moss and the dry hop, change additions to 60min and 5min (1-2oz tops though also depending on AAU), and throw in 200g of dried hibiscus flowers (in a hops bag) at 5mins. Just my two cents though. :drunk:

How often do you guys brew?

I used to brew every 2 weeks or so but after I did the 4 tap build on my keezer last January, I brew (5-10gal) every Saturday. It's a good life :drunk:

    So who's brewing this weekend?

I have not tried that, it does look amazing! That's a great color, it actually looks a lot like my hefe! I'm not big into saisons personally, but about 7 out of 10 of the regulars around my keezer are haha. I think I'll give it a shot once my brew schedule opens up in May. (Countless events...

    nubie from canada

Welcome! Good to see another Canadian on here :D Moving to all-grain and kegging eh? Very nice! Kegging really saved me a bunch of time and headaches. I still keep a make-shift bottling gun so I can bottle off a couple for friends if they like what's on tap, but I've never regretted the switch over.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Torn between another batch of my Hibiscus and Black Currant Hefe, or Nelson Sauvin IPA. Either way, one of 'em is happening Saturday :P

Experience Keggers- which regulator here is best:

I've had very good luck with my Taprite, it's taken a fair amount of abuse and has kept going like a trooper. You may want to opt for the quick disconnects on it similar to the ones on your second option though. It'll make it easier to switch between carbing and purging kegs, and way less...

    Hefeweizen temp?!

Give that little fella a chance! I had a similar issue with a hefe I recently made. I used a yeast I wasn't too familiar with. It was sending out all sorts of undesirable smells, and was pretty disappointing when I tasted it while taking a gravity reading. Had a huge temp swing in my area and...

    Dry Hopping A Amber Ale

I love to dry hop my ambers with around 1-3oz of cascade. But the earlier post raises a very valid question about your other additions. My top three dry hopping hops are Citra, Cascade, and Nelson Sauvin

    Iowa Keggle brewing system

Would you sell the burners separately? If so, would you be willing to ship them? (Shipping cost naturally covered by me)

    Keg prices up again

The $75 AIH kegs I was referring to were the ones made in china. I did purchase a new Italian made keg locally ($159.99 before tax..), and while I'm not a fan of the single metal handle everything else about that keg has been dreamy. I think I have a crush on it....

    Hi folk...

Indeed! Do tell! Color me interested!

    Keg prices up again

I bought 2 of those from AIH as well. Not as nice as the ridiculously expensive Italian kegs, but they're working great. The shipping up to Canada hurt though... :(

    Yeast dropped out overnight

Looks like it's still going strong to me...I'd leave it be.

    Keg prices up again

Keezer build with 5.1 cu ft igloo

Most chest freezers run the freon lines in the walls. Unless you have the exact specs and blueprints of your model, I would agree that you should just build a collar. I just did a build on mine, it's not as daunting as it may seem. It also open up all kinds of options for you. Check out the...
