What are you listening to (music!!!) right now? Embarrassing or not... share

I can understand the frustration with the cost of quality instruments. I guess I should have been more accurate with my guitar descriptions. The Les Paul I have is Gibson's Epiphone version, an inexpensive guitar I bought used back around 1990 for about $125. It's also left handed. One of the...

I did some checking around and found that the music program at my local high school isn't quite as diminished as I thought. They have a small group of parents that have formed a music boosters program to try to help the program. With school vacation starting in a couple of days I'll need to work...

I got a chance to see Jethro Tull at the Colisée de Québec in Quebec City in 1972. I'd still rate it as the best concert I've ever been to.

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

This article gives some ideas on the thoughts on less vigorous boiling. http://www.lowoxygenbrewing.com/uncategorized/low-oxygen-boiling/

Thank you. Giving up was a pretty emotional decision but I realized that it's foolish to hang on to things that I'll never use again when there's people out there that would probably make much better use of them than I ever did. And if I'm helping people get into music that might not normally be...

Thank you for that. I find it really sad that I live in one of the most affluent towns in my state and their school music program is so limited that that unless your parents can afford to buy your instrument you are excluded from music. They have no program for accepting instruments for kids...

This is probably OT but I posted this SRV video because he was the guitarist I aspired to be and since this is a music thread maybe someone might have some ideas.Long story short I have a different wired brain apparently so things that most people do that favor one hand I have tended to divide...

I've never been into the Miley type of music but when you have a great song and the band to back it up it just works.

Love that he has the Layla album cover art painted on his guitar. Great version of one of my all time favorite songs.

An underrated band from the late 70's into the 80's. I'm happy they finally got recognized by the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame as meaningless as it's seemed to have become.

Node-RED for Raspberry pi-based brewery control

I'm sorry to hear that you were banned over at the CBPi Fb forum. You contributed a lot over there. I missed your post yesterday but I remember you mentioning Node-RED in a thread dealing with one of your CBPi addons a while ago. That, and the fact that there has been no real news about CBPi...

Node-RED for Raspberry pi-based brewery control

I've been looking at Node-RED since you mentioned it a while back on the CBPi Facebook forum. Considering how vague the future development of CBPi has become I like the idea of having other options that don't rely on other people's software packages. I've also been looking at the practicality of...

Roofer took over my side yard

One thing that's not clear...did the roofer actually ask permission to use the OP's property before he started? Legally no contractor has a right to step foot on an adjoining property much less use it unless they have made arrangements beforehand and no legitimate contractor would do so without...

    What are you drinking now?

I had to give you a thumbs up for having a picture with James Dean, Bogart, Elvis, and Marilyn Monroe behind your bar.

What came in the mail for you today?

I received a regulator for my second CO2 tank, a digital scale that's more accurate than the food scale I have for water additions, and a cheap set of certified weights for checking scales.
