    Brewed wort, 3 weeks in primary, bottled, has been bottle conditioning In a 70-75* dark room for over a month. The few that I have tasted have been in fridge for over a week. So the beer is over 2 months old, from brew day to drink day.

    Was reading some threads on here, and it occurred to me, could you leave your hydrometer in the beer the whole time it is in primary? Or even after the major fermentation is done. I'd imagine during main phase of fermentation, the hydrometer would be covered in gunk, but lets say a week or so...

    Noble trappist extract kit color way off?

    Bottled it this weekend. Color is still way off. Looks almost like a bud light in color, though hazier. Might be slightly darker, like a blonde ale. I wonder what happened???

    Yah, ill order a new siphon ASAP, but I'm worried about my brew being ruined. I guess it's too late for anything, its bottled and finished. But I guess I can expect cardboard taste if it is oxidized?

    So just racked and bottled my trappist ale that has been in primary for 3 weeks. It has been tasting and smelling good, was super psyched, until now. I think I oxygenated it while racking to bottling bucket. About 4/5th's of the way down, I started noticing tiny bubbles floating backwards...

    Can I just throw some hop pellets in and let them do their thing? Like a .5 oz? Will this cause too much gunk while siphoning?
