    This happened to me on my last partial mash. Wort chiller leaked an extra gallon of water into my bk. turned out to be one of the best beers I've made. Ironic huh? Ill try this recipe again, this time without the extra gallon. Hopefully it will be even better!

    So I just mashed, sparged, and drained about 6.5 gallons of hot wort (or is it extract?) into my bottling bucket. I plan to brew it tonight. Will it be ok sitting in the bucket for a few hours? I'm just worried about the temp. It's probably 150-160 degrees. Will it be ok?

    Mash now, brew later?

    I know I can mash now, get me boil qty, and save it for boiling later. I want to mash now, then boil it tonight. Anything I should consider before proceeding? I plan to leave my boil qty in brew kettle with lid on for like 7-8 hours. Anything wrong with this?

    I'm looking for a place that will ship them now. Most places I've seen say they will only ship in late march or early April. I live in Florida and want to get a head start growing them before it gets too damn hot ( Aka march :p) !

    dry hop w/ muslin bag

    Definitely use a bag of some sort. I just threw some hop pellets in fermenter and Waited 5 days, they never settled. Hop matter was everywhere. Had to use a mesh bag over auto siphon when racking to bottling bucket....
