    I like it so far (started another 1 gallon batch of lemon wine/hard lemonade last night lol). I realize the argument that the effort of doing 1 gallon vs 5 gallon isn't a big difference so 5 gallon is probably better. However if the recipes you pick are simple, you can fire off a few per week...

    Using expired dry yeast packets

    I have a lager going right now that I used yeast that was 18 months past expiration (local shop was giving them away for free since they were expired, BrewFerm brand) and fermentation was pretty strong.

    Joe's Ancient Orange Mead

    Started a batch of this last night, the fermentation on this is crazy. Started in 45min and this morning the airlock was full of the brew even. Is it because bread yeast has been developed more for CO2 production over alcohol? Makes me want to use bread yeast in more things lol.

    Man, I love Apfelwein

    I started a batch of this on 6/18, it looked easy and sounds tasty. I had it in a 5G bucket and just moved it to a 5G jug today as I wanted to use the bucket. I took a reading and the SG is at 0.994 right now so I think its done or almost since the SP is so low and nothing in the airlock yet...
