Specialty Fruit Beer Smoked Cherry Porter

This is EXACTLY what I wanted to do for a Porter. I had this idea in my head for a few months so it's a bitter-sweet feeling finding it on here. I'm happy to find that this recipe has already been tried and has had success, but I'm sad that it's not something I came up with :( haha. Going to...

    Chocolate question.

Sounds good, I did a NB Chocolate milk stout kit and it turned out good, but could use more chocolate. 2 weeks on coco nibs did bring in some flavor but I'd like more of that chocolate to come through.

    American IPA recipe critique

Love the hop combo, but not sure on dry hopping all 3. A friend of mine did 2 Ales and dry hopped 1 with Amarillo and the other with Cascade and said the Amarillo dry hopping was far better. I love the way Amarillo hops smell so I would dry hop that but that's just me :). At any rate, good luck...

    Brewery names--what's your story?

Trident Brewing Co. "Brew named after a trident stick, wet all over in waves, strength, and mist." My brewing partner and I do our brewing out of Bremerton, WA which is home to the 2nd biggest ship yard in the nation (I think) only to San Deigo. A little more north is a sub-base where they...

Need to know best method for adding coffee to my stout

    Question about using SMOKED grains/malt.

How much is too much? I'm thinking of taking your really basic Porter recipe and adding some Briess Cherrywood Smoked Malt from Northern Brewer as seen here: http://www.northernbrewer.com/shop/brewing/brewing-ingredients/grain-malts/briess-cherrywood-smoked-malt.html The description says...
