    Will you miss the bottle?

Not at all. I prefer the cans.

First Brew Results - Delicious but Cloudy

Also, if bottle conditioning, pour somewhat gently. There is going to be a thin layer on the bottom of the bottle you will want to leave in the bottle. That being said, congrats on your first successful brew!

Converting Stand-up Fridge to Keg | Questions

Depending on how serious you are about your drip tray, I used a magnetic tool holder for mine.

Anybody NOT in a homebrew club or have one available?

That's a bummer about the clubs by you. Do you travel at all? I know our club is very welcoming to visitors, we even did a nice sized exchange with a group that were here from a NY club.

Steeping vs Mashing: I don't get it.

    IBU accuracy in Brewer Friend

give this a look https://www.experimentalbrew.com/experiments/writeups/ibu-lie-kind plus a couple points: 1) are you adjusting your AA in your software when building the recipe? 2) @Smellyglove - how are you getting that you are overshooting by 5-7 IBUs? Northern Brewer/Ab InBev - What's the prognosis 1 year on?

To be honest, the only difference I have really noticed is the lack of White Labs yeast. I live within about 1.5 miles of the Minneapolis store, which has been remodeled. At the corporate level, I think there have been some changes, but from a retail experience it seems to not have deviated from...

    Cherries into Primary?

I have a couple points in thinking for my fruit additions, especially cherry which as mentioned is more delicate than many. 1) fruit into secondary and then racking on top of that is way less splashing for me than going into primary, but I do use carboys. 2) getting off the yeast cake so the...

problems hitting abv target, constantly above projected abv!?

That amount of fermentables would be way over 1.050 on just about any system. Are you sure those are the right amounts?

    Session Brewing Questions

I’ve also been doing full volume mashing for session strength beers. Probably a good test if I can pull it off: full volume vs sparged session brew.

Can a certain mash schedule severely lower kettle trub?

It have for efficiency, not sure about clarity. I was thinking that if you recirculated through the grain bed for 2 hours, that wort would be brilliantly clear
