    How long will bulk malt stay good?

    I order ten pound bags from More Beer... unmilled, and they stay sealed until i use them. Any speciality grains i use i reseal them with vac sealer... so far no issues at all... and the 5 and 10 pound bags work out great for me...

    I wouldnt think you need to clean the whole thing like the one before... just the area thats getting welded I should think should be sufficient...

    to make you feel better I will post this hideousness... .025 SS sheets... it did not go well at all... warping buckling etc... reg Steel razor blades were WAY easier than this...

    I have a CBS eBIAB rig with a BCS 460 control panel I built. I like the CBS system OK, but it it took awhile to work out some bad efficiency issues... THE BCS is overkill for this, but I wanted something I could expand and use for other stuff, like the AC Chiller I just built.. I have no probs...

    This isnt a great contribution, but learning to TIG after not welding since HS basically. This is what I did using my lift start TIG, no pedal around 15 amps... the trick is to not blow off the ends... razor blades are cheap and pretty good practice if you cant get much steel to practice with...

    Finally used for the first time yesterday. Brewed a Czech Pilsner... sitting at 52 degrees waiting for starter to finish... so far works great. I did wrap an old comforter about it to keep it cooler...but it kept 52 no prob...

    5 pounds is 2278 grams works to 5.6 grams ~ 1.3 TSP... must be some powerful stuff!! that isnt very much at all... esp for 3 slabs

    I have appx 5 lbs of pork bellies i plan to smoke. Using #1 cure I get appx 1.5 TSP of cure? that seems like a very small amount? Just wondering if that is correct? thanks in advance...
