What did you end up going with? Im having the same problem finding a reasonably priced false bottom. Maybe I am just too cheap. $100 for a hinged false bottom still seems like a lot to me.

I have a generic faucet for sale. It works great. No leaks. Just swapped it out for a Perlick so it's used. $5. I am willing to ship for a couple extra bucks. I also have a SS drip tray that I can make you a deal on.

It was close but it really effected the taste. Just too much alcohol. Ive done plenty of batches with my setup so I dont think it is that. I just dont get why the calculator calls for it to be high but the recipe says it will be low. It was even checked in a clone beer book. I guess I dont know...
