I have a two keg system. I want to make it three...what do I need?

I have a shank wrench. Good idea to take the other two off prior to tightening the new middle one! My tower top comes off. I have same perlik faucets and tower as you... Please keep me posted on how your install goes! Do you happen to have the parts list that you purchased everything? I...

I have a two keg system. I want to make it three...what do I need?

RevKev, Thanks for the reply. I have a chest freezer on a 3" tower. Almost identical to yours. I was thinking if tapping into the same location. However, how will you tighten the tap nut? I've figured out how to get the gas to the taps. Just now need to figure out how to have the third tap...

I have a two keg system. I want to make it three...what do I need?

All great options. Thanks all. How might I go about making this tower a triple? Do you think it's even possible? Enough room for a third? My biggest concern is getting a wrench in there to attach a third tap. Kegco KC D4743DT-SS Double Tap Stainless Steel Draft Beer Kegerator Tower, 3"...

I have a two keg system. I want to make it three...what do I need?

Hello there, I have a double keg system setup. It's this system: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00W3PYLNW/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20 I now want to add a third keg. Possibly a small 3 gallon keg, or just another 5 gallon (since they are pretty much the same price). But what do I need on...

    Son of a FastFerment Chamber

Yea they should have it, it's very common building materials. The black squiggles are merely the dimension strings. I can provide a PDF of it if you'd like?

    Son of a FastFerment Chamber

Hello Chris, I unfortunately don't have a picture on me. But the OSB was purchased at Home Depot. Whatever the cheapest stuff is. Honestly I wish I actually purchased plywood. I think the OSB is quite horrendous looking in my storage room next to the counter and cabinets I'm about to...

    Son of a FastFerment Chamber

Quick question, I just took off the collection ball and emptied it. Resanitized it, filled it with CO2, then reconnected it. Once I reopened the valve the CO2 didn't RISE to the top. Should I sanitize my spoon and stir up the yeast a bit to have it fall into the ball?

    When to Dry Hop?

I have one more question in regards to dry hopping. Do I need to make hops sterile by putting them in vodka or something?

    When to Dry Hop?

That's awesome!!! Lorne is a GREAT name! It's a family name but they are all spelt differently. Starting with my great grandfather: Lorin, Loren, Loran (my father), Lorne (me), and the newest is Lorn (my son). I love to hear/see more Lorne's out there! Where did you come up with the name? Lorne

    When to Dry Hop?

Thanks Silver. Yea I likely will finish my keg closer to 2 months so that may be too long. I'll dry Hop into the fastferment and keep yeast in it.

    When to Dry Hop?

Hrmmm interesting concept. Why then would the FastFerment even be a benefit to brewing? Now I'm questioning if I should have ever gotten it! I'm also kegging not bottling, fyi. Should I dry hop into my keg with a strainer?

    When to Dry Hop?

Thanks for the responses. I should note that I have the FastFerment. So I won't be switching to another vessel for secondary. Just removing the collection ball, cleaning it out and replacing it. Would you say I still add the hops in there? Should I keep it in there longer since the majority...

    When to Dry Hop?

Hello, I brewed the SMASH pale Session ale from NB last Saturday. It says to dry Hop in secondary after one week. Do you all recommend that timing or should I wait longer? Thanks, Lorne

    Aluminum Kettle CLEAN

I'm trying to clean my aluminum kettle and not sure how. I know not to use oci-clean but what about dish soap? I'm not trying to make mine like new as in M1k3's post. Merely want to know how everyone cleans theirs after each boil. Thanks, Lorne

    Son of a FastFerment Chamber

I will see how this batch goes. I put plumbers putting or that thread sealant on the connection. My beer has been fermenting overnight, so I hope it works. Wither way, after first brew I may return it so I don't have to worry about it being an issue overtime. Thanks, Lorne

    Son of a FastFerment Chamber

Good call on the dremmel. It would be overkill and may screw it up for good. However I did notice one thing: last night the connection at the base of the conical fermenter had leaked VERY SLOWLY. but nevertheless there was collected water on top of the gray connector. I took a closer look when...

    Simcoe vs Centennial hops

Hello there, I'm about to brew the SMASH Session Ale from NB and getting all my ingredients out. I noticed the recipe calls for 3oz of Simcoe hops. But I only have 1oz of Centennial and 1oz of unlabeled. I am pretty sure the unlabeled is centennial. I think the label fell of in the freezer...
