    Have never had that happen.

    Intertap beer faucets

Beer absolutely should not go flat in the line. 100ft of the line is $59 shipped from Birdman http://www.birdmanbrewing.com/accuflex-bev-seal-ultra-barrier-tubing-3-16-id-100ft-free-shipping/ The beauty of the line is not needing to replace all the time and flushability of harsh flavors from...

    Intertap beer faucets

I think I'd be willing to spend a few bucks more not to have to worry about plastic taste or dumping any beer from the line due to being flat. :tank:

    Intertap beer faucets

FWIW on my 6th tap I kept the same 1/8" ID lines in and only swapped the non-FC Intertap with the Perlick 630ss (soda water keg @ 28psi, 38deg). Just from switching the tap I could immediately notice MUCH more carbonation in the soda water. Small pour, large pour, back-to-back, waiting 1 week...

    Intertap beer faucets

And now for what I hope to be my final follow up after about 3-4 kegs. What seemed to be happening sporadically with the Intertap+1/8" ID set up was a venturi effect with back to back pours. For whatever reason, the design of the Intertaps give a much more aggressive flow and thus sort of a...

3-in-1 "Boil Kettle, Jacketed Chiller, Conical Fermenter" by Brewha

Well I pretty much ignored everything I said earlier. New 15gal Brewers Hardware jacketed conical and dedicated TK2000 chiller/heater. Going to CIP it next weekend and get it ready

    Intertap beer faucets

To follow up, I installed all the FC Intertaps on and it helped with the foaming, but did not eliminate it like I thought it would. After quite a bit of research I actually went with 6ft 1/8" ID lines and swapped back on my old non-FC Intertaps and each line is pouring extremely smooth and...

Belgian Dark Strong Ale Westvleteren 12 Clone - Multiple Award Winner

Ended up putting 5.2oz corn sugar per keg, warmed up in a small amount of RO water. Also rehydrated half pack of EC1118 per keg before racking on top. Bottled 93 375ml Belgian bottles :tank:. Hoping to enter a few next year in some comps.

    Intertap beer faucets

Picked up 6 G2 FC Intertaps from MoreBeer. We'll see how they pour this weekend and if they help with my foaming issue.

    Intertap beer faucets

I'd imagine the FC on your Intertaps helps a bit. Mine are non-FC.

    Intertap beer faucets

I'd hate to switch out all the lines with longer ones and have the same problem. Did you consider going with new EJ Ultra Barrier Silver type tubing instead? Did you try anything else? I really like the Intertaps but don't know what's worse, changing out and paying for 6 faucets, or...

    Intertap beer faucets

For those with the Accuflex Bev-Seal Ultra lines that switched faucets to Intertaps, did you have an increase in foaming due to the faster flow of the Intertaps? I have 15ft lines on mine and think I may try 25ft lines. If I pour a pint it is about half foam, subsequent pours back to back are...

Belgian Dark Strong Ale Westvleteren 12 Clone - Multiple Award Winner

For anyone that has used dry yeast for bottle priming, do you typically rehydrate the yeast before adding it? My plan is to add half packet of EC 1118 and ~5.5oz corn sugar to the bottom of a corny (looking for 2.8 vol). Rack 5gal from my conical on top of the solution, and then bottle it...

3-in-1 "Boil Kettle, Jacketed Chiller, Conical Fermenter" by Brewha

Looking around at prices it looks like the SS Brewtech Chronicle is the way to go. Upgrade with butterfly valves and casters and it's $600 for a 14gal stainless conical. I'd really like another BIAC but by the time you spec it out with heating element and temp controller it's $2100+shipping...

3-in-1 "Boil Kettle, Jacketed Chiller, Conical Fermenter" by Brewha

What made you choose a non-jacketed conical and build a completely separate ferm chamber? Rather than adding a second medium BIAC?

3-in-1 "Boil Kettle, Jacketed Chiller, Conical Fermenter" by Brewha

Has anyone scaled up their home brewery with a second or multiple BIAC's? Curious how you manage temperature control between the units, ie all run off one glycol loop with automatic valves and multiple digital ETC's+power box for heat? Or completely independent setups? I'd like to increase my...

I haven't had any issues with sealing in the 2 years of brewing with the BIAC. I do have my clamp set up very tight.

Belgian Dark Strong Ale Westvleteren 12 Clone - Multiple Award Winner

In a bit of a dilemma right now. Brew day is planned on Sunday and I'm doing the recipe per the original post except using The Yeast Bay's Dry Belgian Ale. Unfortunately I only bought 2 vials and the 3rd vial I don't think will be making it in time to do a 3L starter with all 3 vials (11.0gal...

CO2 coming out of solution in keg lines

Curious how this works out for you I also have an issue with c02 coming out of solution in my upgraded 6 tap keezer with all john guest fittings on the beer line side (12' lines). First pour is usually half foam and fairly flat, subsequent pours are all perfect and fully carb'd. I have two...
