    Yeungling overtakes Boston Beer Company

since yeungling has a brewery in Florida now I wonder what the taste difference is since I'm sure the water profiles are different between Florida and Pa.

    Yeungling overtakes Boston Beer Company

around here ya just ask for a lager and ya get yeungling so yeah its the biggest seller in this area. It's the best of the cheap beers and pbr is not even close. but if there are other quality beers on tap I pass on yingling. Sam adams is a much better beer but much more expensive. It is pretty...

always condition 1 (1911 officer model)ya need one in the pipe. That way ya justsweep the safety and fire. you need to practice for muscle memory with your choice of carry. DAO is much simpler just draw and fire. DAO firearms are much simpler for a new cc beginners.

Batch size for 5 gallon primary?

if you ferment at the coldest end of a yeasts range the blow off is negligible. if you can control your fermentation temp at the very low side you don't need much head space for most yeasts. There are a few yeasts that go nuts though and with those all bets are off.

    All grain on the cheap.

spotteddog, my fave supplier for pellet fops is hops direct, fresh hops for leaf. grain is best bought from lhbs b/c of shipping costs or group buys, yeast from lhbs b/c the risk of the viability of the yeast thru the shipping conditions.

    Washing Vs. Repitching

This is how I pitch slurry. Brew a light low gravity lower hop beer and save the slurry in three mason jars. then I will pitch into darker higher hop beers. Buy doing it this way there is much less hop flavor from the first beer to the next. An example would brew a blonde first then pitch that...

I carry a 1911 officer (small 3" barrel model) in the winter. it is heavy but very thin and easily concealed. but if your looking for a pocket carry in 9mm kel-tec pf9 or kahr cm9 would be your best choices, with the kahr being the more refined firearm. buds has the kahr for 377 and kel-tecs can...

    Firearms

starfish you really are short changing yourself going with a kel-tec, these firearms were fine at their price point but with the release of the kahr cm9 the price difference is no longer that much of a difference. cm9's can be found in the 420 dollar range. for a gun of this high quality at that...

    Started my Fermentation chamber

incandescent light bulbs don't produce ultra violet light so thats not a worry. A coffee can as a shield and a light bulb would work. its smaller than a paint can and in a small apartment frig a 25 watt bulb would be plenty of heat.

Indoor Mashing: Do I need a hood?

no problem for the mash. I used to do that all the time in the winter.

    my basement is at 50f!

you can get away with fermenting a lager at 50 f (beer temp will be a little warmer but its doable). you will need to have a way to lager the beer though.
