Other night I had my first homebrew. It was American ale kit I racked it with 2 pints of blackberries. It sat in primary for 2 weeks and in secondary for about 2 weeks. Everyone says it's almost like a Belgium white. It has a cidery taste, not a lot of aftertaste. I'm proud.

So I ended up doing a couple of events. It was a blast. Probably best two weeks in the Army yet. I ended up with a Silver and a Bronze. Plus so much knowledge I can't begin to describe.

I got a set of ice tea goblets. It was a set of 4 only have two left. Friends have broken the other two. I can't really drink beer out of bottles anymore. I even bring my glass with me if I bring beer to someone's house. I'm weird I know but I'm ok with it.

Nice could I get the recipe?

So alot has changed in the last few days. I'm not only doing the Lamb event I'm also doing two mystery basket dessert categories. One by myself and one with a partner. Plus I'm part of the team for the 80 top. Crazy stuff.

I have a cheap brinkman bullet too. A few mods to the fire pan and a couple of free bricks and it works great. Also get a # 10 can and cut off both ends. Free from a restaurant. Useful for setting up charcoal for longer cooking times.
