    Auber NC switch blocks?

Thanks. I played with like 4 spare NC blocks trying to get one to work. 3 of the 4 didn't on the "bad" switch block (meaning, I think, that the actual clearance in the two bad 3-way switches is probably slightly less compared to the other 3 that seemed to "work"). Ultimately, I played around...

Auber DIY 50A HERMS Brew Buddy 2 dual pole contactor

...and is it just "it was free because they had a dual pole contactor"? I have never seen this done (even if it was "free") and I've worked as apprentice journeyman electrician, though only on homes, not DIN relay contactors... Just wondering. I've pulled those neutrals out of being...

Using a PID to control solonoids in a herms build

Just FYI, I run my gas fired HLT with coils and HERMS this way too. I keep the HLT at ~165'F and then have ASCO solenoids that bypass or circulate into the HLT coil. You could also just stop running pump, but I like to continue circulating in Mash to keep temp more even. Just a couple notes...

    Auber NC switch blocks?

Anyone using the Auber Brew Buddy 2?

Just finished this DIY 50A HERMS build myself (converting from ranco controlled solenoids on gas fired HERMS setup developed in 2003). They neglected to include one of the L5-15R flange receptacles and one of the 32A dual pole contactors was bad (60Hz chattering contact when energized), but...

Auber DIY 50A HERMS Brew Buddy 2 dual pole contactor

I have the BB400H (50A HERMS Brew Buddy 2) from Auber DIY and I ran across a problem with my wiring assumptions when I started using additional neutral lines cascaded. Specifically, I was using a neutral from one of my PUMP outputs to provide neutral for a solenoid valve. I was only seeing it...
