    To the original poster keep in mind most people brew 5 gal batches and this would need a 6.5 gal carboy/bucket; 5 gal bucket wouldnt be big enough.

    The adhesive really doesnt work at all when the keg is cold/full. For it to stick the keg has to be dry and room temperature. The condensation wrecks the adhesive and it wont stick to the moisture. I should have an empty keg sometime soon... HOW SOON? Who knows, i cant tell until i get this...

    You really just need two pressure zones - one for carbonating beer, and one zone for serving.     I just got a couple stick on LCD strips that are supposed to tell you the level. $6 tho..... Will report back when I try them, you have to stick them on when the keg is empty and warm (how often is that really) and of course u need to remember edit - dang i got ripped off compared to the link...

    Passedpawn, can you explain a little more? Are all three base malts that I would want to make a variety of brews? For now, I was hoping to stick to one large bag of base malt and some specialties. In the future I would expand to cover a wider spectrum of brew styles.
