    Hello from Northern Ontario, Canada!

@boo boo yah it's sort of annoying living up here sometimes, but there is money to be made up here :) so for now, until I figure out a better system, my sister will ship me up BH kits! @metches i am fermenting at a temperature around 75C. Quick question on sanitizing beer bottles using heat

Wow, you guys are amazing! Thanks for all your help/ideas. I definitely need them here! And I did make a typo, I had them in the oven at 375F haha. I am definitely going to stock up on star-san when I am in the city. Seems like a much easier way to do things! If you have any more ideas, keep em...

Quick question on sanitizing beer bottles using heat

Hey everyone! So I live in a remote area, and I can't just walk to the local supply store and buy Star-San or whatever you might use to clean/sanitize bottles and equpiment. All I have at my disposal right now is unscented bleach and heat. I'm doing my first ever batch and I will be bottling on...

    Hello from Northern Ontario, Canada!

@metches It's called The Homebrew Center (www.homebrewcenter.ca) just off of Airport Rd and #11. I just bought a few of their brand name kits. Have you ever visited them before? It was the only place I could find that was relatively close to Moose Factory.

    Hello from Northern Ontario, Canada!

@hopdawgs I totally lived in Brookswood too! But it was only for 3 months or so. I lived in Langley City for about a year, then moved in Aldergrove for a year! I checked out your site, looks awesome! Would love to do some business with you! Think it would be pretty expensive to ship stuff out...

    Hello from Northern Ontario, Canada!

@Batinse Wow! Small world! It's crazy you know someone who works in Attawapiskat! Now that place is isolated. I just started brewing and right now I have my sister shipping me up stuff from North Bay. I hope to find a good online supplier soon instead of sending her to do the dirty work :-)...

    another fermentation question!

sorry! it's brewers yeast! I've filled the airlock about halfway up. I had a hyrdometer but I broke it during the initial fermentation (dropped the bugger!) i took a reading of 1.050. Haven't been able to check it since!

    another fermentation question!

hi everyone, I am brewing my first ever batch (Red Ale) and I am having tons of fun with it. It's from a kit that has already prepared the wort. You just dump it into the primary fermentor, add the (baker's) yeast and water and pH adjuster, and let it sit for 5 days, then rack it into the...
