I finally got around to making my samichlause AHS clone today. I really wanted to brew it on December 6th (per tradition) but it just wasn't meant to be. My OG was 1.140. My highest OG yet. This would put me up over 15% ABV if my calculations are correct. Either way, it was a great brew day!!

I have some Samichlaus that I will be enjoying. It is going to be a great Christmas!! Hopefully I will remember it :) Merry Christmas everyone.

Actually I just looked it up...it's 14% Abv. I spelled it wrong too. It is spelled "Samichlaus". Hope that helps.

AHS has a Samiclaus clone kit...I've had one of the originals and I want to say it was around 11 or 12 percent. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. The beer was good if you enjoy that sort of thing.

That is one sweet Keezer! I think those chalkboard taps really make the whole thing pop and worth every penny! Did you find them cheaper or do you just not think they are worth the money? Either way great job!
