    i have a gas burner stove and just put put the can right over the fire and kept the flame at medium/low. Make sure you have a pot holder handy because the can will obviously get pretty hot.

    This is basically what I used for mine. I waxed a few bottles that I gave to family as gifts. I used a clean soup can to melt the wax...it really was the perfect size and you don't have a mess to clean up, just toss the can in the trash. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Home Brew mobile app

    I like my new Speidel fermenters a lot except for....

    Have you tried rotating the spiggot? Pull put the orange piece and essentially rotate the white plastic part upside down and put the orange piece back in.     I've never had any issues with my spigot attachment leaking...have you tried it with the solid cap? Maybe its just the gasket on the spigot part that might be bad, I think they are pretty cheap if you need to get a new one. Also, try to soak it in some warm water before you screw it on, that...
