    American IPA Fresh Squeezed IPA

You do not have to sanitize, just dump it in. You can dry hop with either pellets or leaf.

    Conan Yeast Experiences

Conan is my house ipa yeast, but it does not replace lots of other clean yeasts for different styles

Heady Topper- Can you clone it?

I have pendulumed year to year from using leaf to pellet to leaf again. I now think pellet gets too bitter with trub and particles in big beers, even with a good crash.

All my conan beers have cleared after about a month but they start super hazy

Bostonian, with all due respect you definitely cannot brew an HT clone with extract, a different yeast, and a different smaller hop bill. Sounds like you brewed a completely different beer that still tastes good.

Heady Topper- Can you clone it?

I agree with kock that everyone just pumps out identical mediocre dipas...except that HT is actually significantly different from all other dIPAs, so it makes me question whether he's even had HT before.

    Conan Yeast Experiences

I've brewed a couple stouts and porters with conan. They come out very belgian with quite a bit of contrasting fruit flavors, be warned. This yeast will completely change the profile of these beers.

Haha sorry I meant the flavor additives!

Extracts are sketchy in my opinion. First it can easily ruin your beer. Second, you are home brewing a wonderful natural beer...why add"extract" of anything to it? Just add the real thing!

my pale ale with conan, da bomB! 1.055 to 1.012, wheat, loads of whirlpool hops and two stage dry hop

American Porter Bee Cave Brewery Robust Porter

I've brewed this beer probably 6 times and it always comes out great! Brewed again today at my wife's urging for "that delicious dark beer"! Nottingham, s04, and conan are all great with this recipe. I've also used all sorts of different hops with good success including summit, centennial...

That is a truly legendary attempt at cloning HT

    Reusing yeast - without washing

I have washed and also just pitched slurry. Now I just pitch slurry because it makes no difference in beer quality and saves a few minutes. If I brewed seldomly then I would wash because it seems a better way to store yeast long term but I'm always brewing so no need. A lot of brewers take...
