    Treehouse Brewing Julius Clone

What's the consensus on the three hops that go into Julius? Obviously, Citra is the main ingredient, but what are the other two? I'm thinking it's not Simcoe because they held off brewing Sap because they didn't have access to Simcoe and release Julius during this time. I'm leaning towards...

Maine Beer Co. Peeper Ale clone?

Out of curiosity, I degassed and warmed up a sample of Peeper and tested the final gravity. It's around 1.003, which I guess we all knew, but man that's low. I followed csprague's recipe and it came out kind of harsh. I used red wheat instead of the malted wheat and my final gravity was around...

Need High Gravity help, 22% abv stalled fermention

Since EC1118 is a competitive yeast and therefore will kill any normal yeast you pitch. I think you're stuck at the current gravity

    Treehouse Brewing Good Morning Clone

They definitely use maple syrup. Nate has mentioned that adding this beer to his brewing schedule is dictated on access to Maxwell Road maple syrup. In fact, they say so on their website: http://treehousebrew.com/beers/

Yes, post #25 of this thread. He even included a picture. The measured FG of Julius is around 1.012-1.013

    Treehouse Brewing Julius Clone

I can't remember why I know this, but I'm pretty confident that Haze is predominantly Amarillo. I think I asked when I was getting a growler filled a couple years back when the were across the street and you could just walk in and out for growlers.

    Dogs

My little buddy - Cooper. He's so smart and loving. I'm sure we all say this, but he's the best dog! My wife (SWIMBO?) and I rescued him when he was 1.5 years old. Now he's a little over 5 and thriving!

    Hop aroma & flavor problems

2 oz WP in a 15 gallon batch isn't a lot at all. I'd up the amount of hops and throw them right into the BK during the WP

According to their Twitter account they use Columbus and Simcoe in Sap to compliment the massive amount of Chinook.

Step increasing sugar to top out EC-1118

I started adding sugar when the gravity got down to 1.020 and I continued to add sugar for 6 days straight. I'd take a gravity reading and adjust my sugar addition based on how the yeast were performing. I got up to 18%, but stopped because I was bottling and hadn't started kegging. I was never...

    Danger of Hops to Dogs

Thank you for this post! I had no idea and I've never attempted to give my dog hops, or the opportunity to get at the spent wort, but I'll make sure he never has a chance in the future. Thanks again!

    Pliny recipe swap question

There's a thread on here where someone posted the brew sheet from RR. I'd provide a link, but I'm on my phone

    Pliny recipe swap question

The latest version uses C60, drops the carapils and uses a higher mash temperature. Do you have C60?

    Perlick flow control faucets

My only complaint is that they clog up pretty easily if you dry hop in the keg. Otherwise they're great!
