    Orange Blossoms in beer

    Cool idea, being from Litchfield Park in the 70s and 80s, the smell of my dads orange blossoms on his ranch are one of the things I really miss. Please do try this if you can, sounds like Revvy has some good ideas on how to do it. If I had a source of blossoms Id try it for sure.

    My carmel amber smelled like a wet f@rt for a few days last week, stunk up the whole room and I had a great time blaming my wife and kids for the stench. :drunk:

    Also check out the mid State fair in Paso Robles. The competition rules arent up yet but check here often; http://www.midstatefair.com/result_details.php?type=3485 The fair is the last week of July, first week of Aug, its a good one too.

    Something i just realized, if I buy a two keg kit, I will need a dual regulator so I can carb one keg at high pressure while running the other keg at dispensing pressure. The price just went up for this luxury, now to see if its worth it to have two CO2 tanks or spring for the dual reg...

    Almost at day seven, The first two days this made some obnoxious sulfur gas. The room it is in smelled like a wet f@rt for the whole time :D Cant wait to taste this one, its clearing now and the yeasties are going to sleep.

    "It's been said a million times before, the search is the best way to get an answer" By that logic, all has been answered, the data does not change and there is no reason to even have a forum or meaningful conversation between those who wish to discuss, just put it in a FAQ. I dont buy it...

    Agreed, if one is tired of hearing the question asked over and over, move the F on, dont belittle somebody asking for help. Theres more to life then this forum and our hobby, no need to make someone feel like a turd because it is interrupting ones internet forum addiction/life/superiority complex.

    I havent used a nutrient yet, I figure theres plenty of nutrient in the five gallons of wort =) I havent had a problem not using one yet so I think it works both ways.

    I dont understand the logic on this forum, that looks like crap, if I found out you served that to me you would be walking funny for a week. Its maybe 25 dollars worth of stuff and a few hours of time, I bet you had fun during that time too. Id dump that in a heartbeat.

    Im mostly using kolsch with starters right now, temp control is good for another month or so here the I have to come up with a way to cool. I haven't tried any English stains yet but am interested. OP, didnt mean to hijack your thread. maybe we should start a new topic?

    Said beautifully! I have had the same thoughts as you, Ive been here a very short time, have little to no brewing experience, and I am very put off by the canned response and it makes me and possibly others want to go elsewhere for discussions.
