    Young and dumb

I got my first DWI at 19. To make a long story short I was drunk and high, drove into a brick house and ended up on the TV show COPS.

Have I been batch sparging wrong?

How would they be selling more grain by crushing it once or twice? 100 pounds of feathers weigh as much as 100 pounds of gold. My point is we buy it by the pound.

Aging beer: Facts, myths, and discussion

When I started out I couldn't wait either. force carbonated the keg and started drinking right away. I know now to just set the psi to about 12 - 15 and leave it alone for a couple of weeks. The beer will certainly taste better.

Storytyme, you say that you mash in at 152. Are you taking in the consideration of your grain temp. On My 10 gallon brews I heat my strike water to around 168. Within about 4 minutes the temp will drop to the desired 152 - 154 range.

I'm using 316 stainless compression fittings inside and out. 316 ballvalves at the top and bottem of keggles. Yes there are sellanoid valves for each 10 inch banjo burner each controlled by their own pid. There is no 3 way valves The manafold works with 3 inputs and 3 outputs.

    compression fittings

If it was me I would take a plassma cutter and cut that 1/4" fitting out and tig weld a 1/2" strait. Although not everyone is a welder so you might have to hire one. or you could cap that port off and drill you a new hole and use weldless fittings.
