I have one of those grates from BrewHardware that I use to keep my chiller off the element. It has a little bit of space all around it so there's maybe 0.5" between the edge of the grate and the kettle wall. Couldn't the bag get sucked down through that gap and scorch on the element?

One of my hang-ups with the Penguin is that it's essentially a repurposed window AC unit, correct? Does the Icemaster have a more dedicated design, or are the guts of the Penguin and Icemaster essentially the same?

Not saying I'll ever do it, but who knows. But I don't want to have to replace an upright freezer if I do upgrade. Like Spike says, buy once, cry once.

Anyone with a CF15 fermenting in an upright freezer? If so, what model freezer are you using? I want to get a future proof freezer in case I decide to upgrade past the CF5.
