    problem with ball lock QD's

FWIW...I picked up a 2 keg system from KegConnection last week, brought it home and when I was cleaning the kegs and beer lines I ran into the exact same problem on one of the kegs. The gas quick disconnect wasn't going all the way down on one of the gas posts and when I tried to take it off...

    Picking a Freezer

well the idea is to start with 2 kegs and and CO2 inside with the option of possibly adding a third by building a collar while still keeping the CO2 inside. Sorry I missed the sticky about what freezers hold how many kegs. That was exactly what I needed!!! Also, the idea of lagering a little...

    Picking a Freezer

Does anyone know if a 5.0 or 5.3 cubic ft chest freezer would hold two 5 gallon cornies with a 5# CO2 tank??? There's a pretty good deal on one but I'm a little unsure of squeezing all the above into 5 cubic ft. Thanks in advance for the help!!!

AHS West Coast Pale Ale Pic

Per the instructions...I started out with 2.5 gallons to steep, mix the extract, and add the hops. The only thing I didn't do is add water over the grain bag at the end of steeping which would of added roughly 2 quarts or so. After cooling and adding to the fermenter, I mixed it with another...

AHS West Coast Pale Ale Pic

Quick question... Just moved my AHS West Coast Pale Ale from primary to secondary this afternoon. How does the color look to those of you who have brewed this beer before? This is my first batch as a home brewer and I am curious to know if anything looks not quite right. The F.G. was right...

    Nubee Question

Just picked up a West Coast Ale from AHS and noticed the recipe calls for .5lbs of Crystal and 2.5lbs of 2-row. They only gave me 1 bag of grain and I was curious if the above is already mixed together or did they short me the Cyrstal? Thanks for the help

    First Timer from Austin, TX

Shaun ATX, Just got back from Austin Homebrew with my new kit today!!! Super excited and can't wait to get started. I was pretty set on doing a 100% extract when I went in and after talking to the great staff at Austin Homebrew, they talked me into trying a mini-mash of the West Coast Ale...
