    Batch sparge question

If you have the means, order a mill for yourself. "The barley crusher" works amazing. Or try some different online stores. Homebrewheaven.com has awesome products and ships pretty quick. Also, what temp have you been mashing and what are you using for a mash tun?

whats in the pipeline for Christmas/seasonal brew?

I did a stout with syrup last year cuz at bottling time i found that i had NO corn sugar!! I saw a bottle of syrup and said, "thats got sugar in it." I called it the breakfast stout. Tasted like buttery chocolate chip pancakes!!

    Batch sparge question

This is exactly how i do it too. With my system, i have about 4 gallons of sparge water sitting between 172-178 degrees. I batch sparge so ill usually have some left in the mash tun but ill have collected 6.5 to 7 gallons pre boil. I hit around 80% efficiency according to the online calculators...

Specialty Fruit Beer Chocolate Cherry Stout

I just bottled this the other day. Although i changed the recipe a bit, its still similar. I used american hops and wlp051 and decided to put raspberry extract in secondary instead of at bottling like alot of people do. It smelled and tasted sooooooo good! I cant wait for this one!

American Pale Ale citra/simcoe/amarillo session pale ale

So i am gonna try the no sparge method just because i never have and it seems kinda cool... Can anyone tell me why exactly this method brings out more malty character than a regular sparge brew?? Thanks!!
