Why cant I bottle my rye ipa?

I have been bottling beers from my cornies for a couple of years now and I have never had the problems that I have been having with this beer. I am using a picnic tap with the racking cane method. What happens is that on the first bottle it starts out ok and about the time it gets to half full...

Where to have more BTU's BK or HLT?

Where I live the cost of brewing a batch using electric is about 1/3 to 1/4 that of propane. Electric is faster and I can be inside warm and dry or cool and bug free.

    airlock driped into fermentor

My first 3 batches got the water sucked back into fermenter through the blowoff tube before I figured out how not to leave enough water to fill the tube. And to pull the tube from the top of the carboy first not the jar of water. They were all fine.

In need of an Indiana home brewer that can cut open a keg!!

I would be happy to cut your keg if you could get it down here to Greensburg. It would have to be on the weekend I word long hours during the week. I cut mine with a plasma cutter but would use a grinder next time as it left some discoloration on the sides of the keg that is really hard to...

Holy cow I just spent 30 minutes searching and only found those 300+ dollar breakers. I would seriously consider replacing the panel.

    Square D Trilliant 50A breaker

A spa panel should have a gfci in it so you can use a regular much cheaper breaker in the main panel

I have heard its bad for copper to be in contact with fermented beer. But stainless is used all the time in this manner in larger fermenters.

Some hair dryers can pull a lot of amps, and aren't really meant for continuous use although if set on low you probably wont have a problem, I have melted a hairdryer using it for an extended time on high. I use a small electric heater set on low (750 watts) works great. This time of year you...
