    Imperial IPA Recipe

    Light brown sugar (just like white cane sugar) will impart a slight flavor to your IPA. Depending on how sensitive your palette is and how much brown sugar you use, you may not be able to tell at all. Corn sugar would be best but be careful on how much you use as it will thin out your beer.

    I need a creative way to hide my keezer...

    Yup, there are seals all around. It isn't an airtight seal but air leakage is minimal. I actually used styrofoam as the seal and it's been a year and half since I finished building it. It's still holding up. It doesn't lock/latch, per se. The weight of the keezer and the kegs keep it closed.

    It's for when you buy/sell/trade with another HBT member. Usually you'd do it in the classifieds section but I suppose it doesn't really have to be done through there. It's just another way of showing that you're a trustworthy HBT'er.

    What are you making and why are you racking to secondary? More often than not, secondary isn't really necessary. If you do need to secondary, then temp swings aren't really all that critical but a 15-degree swing is still pretty significant.

    What's room temperature in your neck of the woods? Typically, lager starters should be done at lager temps, but the California Lager can stand to be a little on the warmer side but not too warm.
