I have another unit of the same model that works fine with the same temp probes. I tried reconfiguring the smoothing, etc but it had no effect. I think it was just that unit.

I never got it working correctly. I ultimately harvested it for parts for my CBPi driven controller. You didn’t get mine but I’d still return it.

I completed the conversion today. Long story short, it’s quite easy to convert to a kegerator - no major obstacles to avoid based on where I positioned the tower. I’ll write up the specs and post them in the next day or so.

I will be giving it a go this weekend and will revert back.

Anyone know if the top of the Tramontina is free of obstructions to cut a hole for a tap? I no longer need it for my bucket and instead would like to convert it into a kegerator. The heat clearly dissipates from the sides but not sure if there is wiring or something else running through the top.
