    it read 1.030 yesterday. i didn't check it today. OG was 1.076 but i think that was undershot since it was right after i filled up the bucket to the 5 gallon mark

    Attempting a Tripel right now. Its been fermenting since Sunday night. I had a very healthy layer of foam (klausen?) for the first few days but now it seems to have gone flat with much less activity in my air-lock? Does that mean its done fermenting or just slowed down? Should I repitch more...

    Any Tips On Using Honey

    i used .80 lbs in a tripel that is fermenting now. originally its very sweet but i have been told it will ferment off. 2 lbs does seem like a lot but go for it!! if its in a kit those recipes are usually tried and tested so it will probably turn out great.

    really that long? the tripel in extreme brewing by sam calagione only fermented for 10 days. the other batches i have done i have let ferment for 3 weeks. i guess its the same for this one.
