I am going to have a friend cut the top and weld a fitting into a keg for me. I have seen pictures of both a coupler and a nipple being welded on. What is preferred? The coupler has the threads on the inside, but requires a bigger hole.

I am making my keggle this week and am wondering if there are any HB related uses for the dip tube and hardware pulled out of the sankey. All in pristine condition.

I saw a good price on a ss 45' wort chiller built for a keggle. The thickness is less than copper, so would this make up for reduced conductivity? Anyone using stainless?

I have had good luck with them on price. They did send ball lock connects instead of the pin I needed and requested. However they did replace them and pay for the shipping. Not bad for me being in Hawaii.
