    co2 regulator

My regulator doesn't seem to have much adjustment to it. It has a turn knob on the front of the main body with a nut. No matter what turns it has, there is always the same pressure reading 16-17 psi( A few points higher-20 psi- now that it is in my kegerator). Is the reg bad? The guage? Just to...

    leaky co2 manifold.

I have a big bar unit beverage air three tap two tower unit with a manifold mounted inside on the back wall. When testing for leaks, there was one at the tank connection. Fixed that, then gas starts leaking big time from the manifold pressure release valve on the end. If i push it in, it will...

Kona Brewing Big Wave Golden Ale or Firerock Pale Ale Clone?

Do you live/ brew in hawaii? Want to know other brewers here. No clone recipes to offer. Try Maui Brewing Co. Big swell IPA or Coconut Porter. Kona Lavaman red ale is great too. Love the fire rock.

    use for sankey dip tubes?

Bobby, do you have welded or weldless fittings on the keggles?

    Keggle fitting

I am going to have a friend cut the top and weld a fitting into a keg for me. I have seen pictures of both a coupler and a nipple being welded on. What is preferred? The coupler has the threads on the inside, but requires a bigger hole.

    use for sankey dip tubes?

I am making my keggle this week and am wondering if there are any HB related uses for the dip tube and hardware pulled out of the sankey. All in pristine condition.

    stainless IC

I saw a good price on a ss 45' wort chiller built for a keggle. The thickness is less than copper, so would this make up for reduced conductivity? Anyone using stainless?

    corny keg for secondary

So without using a terciary, should I leave the beer in the primary longer than fermentation?

    corny keg for secondary

I was looking for advice on using my cornys as secondarys. I am wondering if after clarification, do you need to transfer again? Wouldn't you be able to tap the sediment filled glass and discard? If you transfer using a jumper and CO2, wouldn't all the sediment be the first stuff pushed through...

    sanke tap line

I have an old beverage air restaurant beer cooler with 2 towers and three faucets I got for free. I regasketed the doors and rebuilt some hinges and it now works great. I have some brews fermenting, but want to get a commercial keg until, and for those who won't appreciate my HB. I bought a nice...

    Beverage factory

I have had good luck with them on price. They did send ball lock connects instead of the pin I needed and requested. However they did replace them and pay for the shipping. Not bad for me being in Hawaii.

    plastic chill panels

Thank you for your input. I have done it and the thing has never cracked. I use ice outside the pot as well, and have been able to bring my extract brews up to a full boil volume. But, now it is off to start collecting my gear for all grain brewing. Not so easy on an island with high shipping...

    plastic chill panels

I am a caterer and have Plastic chill panels for soups, sauces, etc. They are a blue heavy hard food grade plastic ( I think PET) that you fill with water and freeze. You immerse and stir. Other than airborne contamination ( my pot is tall enough to insert the chill panel with the lid on), if...

    Mold on stout

I brew and keg extract beers with great success in Haiku HI. It is very wet and moldy here, but not always too warm to make ales where I make the beer. I recenlty had a white thin film and smokey bubbles( a few) of what looks like white mold cover the top on a stout after ten days in a...
