    CO2 tank longevity

if you are keeping it in the fridge with your kegs make sure you will have enough room with a 10lb (they are a lot bigger)

I voted both hate and love for summer. I hate the heat but I LOVE the barely clothed barefoot chicks and for this reason alone summer rocks :rockin:

my edit button is not working for some reason:confused: I wanted to list my differences to cheeses' recipe. I used half of the lactose, half of the vanilla extract and used an Irish ale yeast.:D

    Vanilla Caramel Milk Ale

My batch was great! I brewed it back in February and drank the last bottle about the middle of July. This beer is great, especially with some age on it. If you can find a little patience try tucking a few bottles away for five or six months, you won't be sorry! BT

Why does this beer have no flavor?

i wonder if it has something to do with the ph of the water?

    Priming with LME

LME is less concentrated than DME so you will need more. I think LME is 20% water. 1.5c DME / .80 = 1.875 or 80% of 1.875 cups LME = 1.5 cups of DME SO you will need 1.875 cups of LME to equal 1.5 cups DME

    fridge on the fritts?

OK, I got the problem solved! I simply unplgged it for a day to let the ice buildup on the evaporator coils melt. I plugged it back in and overnight the temp inside the fridge was 38F:ban: Looks like I might have to do this once or twice a year but it's better than buying another fridge! Word up!

Feedback on planned equipment/first brew please.

:D As for equipment, I would get two 6 gallon Better-Bottles w/ valves instead of 6.5g plastic bucket primary and 5 gal carboy with cap! but that's just me!:D
