Quick question on using this product. When is the best time to open the butterfly valve to collect trub/yeast? I figured after fermentation but I didn't want to put any oxygen in the collection bottle then open the valve. Do you just open from the get go?

A little off topic, but is that a freezer? Just curious it looks like one I have but mine looks like it uses the shelving to push coolant or something through. Wasn't sure if there was an easy way to take those out like you did.

Looks like the ABLE commission is going to let Brewers sell on site now. They had a meeting with the Craft Brewer Association of Oklahoma and sounds like they gave them the thumbs up. SO August 25th tap rooms are a go all across the state to sell any beer made on premise in their own taprooms...

Whelp I'm apparently one of the few with power in my family so the folks are crashing over here. Getting my buzz on before they arrive. RoughTail Pale Ale is helping with my sanity.

Coffee contemplating early beers. Iced trees down every where and power is spotty. As long as I have power for football tonight we should be good.

Why even bother chilling then if you wait until the next day to pitch? Just go no chill, but for those that want to chill quickly as possible I don't think it'd be that much more work to add a chiller. Especially when the cleaning cycle on the zymatic will help clean the chiller too.

The bucket sounds like a great idea. @hezagenius vacuum sealed all the brews he sent me. Probably the neatest packing job i'd ever seen.
