    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

I can't believe it either. Cheap roasts smoke up nicely. Low and slow does them good. But some are really lean, so dont over cook them. Your color looks good, 145?

    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

Two butts of about the same size (10lb each) going at the same time. 1st one done @204, second one only @170. Guess its true that you can't go by time, it's done when it's done.

No pics, but Lamb T-bones marinated in local olive oil and yard herbs (lemon thyme, chives and oregano,) and gnocchi pan fried with pancetta.

Nope, nobody would notice. Just make sure you have a rag and maybe some bkf. If anyone sees yiu leaving with it, tell them you were tasked with polishing and you'll have it back in a few weeks.

I'm kind of a Fergus Henderson nose-to-tale fan as well as a would-be professional procrastinator if I ever got around to it. I know I will inevitably miss a zucchini and will wonder "where did that green monster that wasn't there yesterday came from." I (poorly) attempted to waste as little as...

Big zucchini are still good. Cut them in half lengthwise, core out the seeds and stuff with sausage, mushrooms, onions, spinach and cheese. Very, very liberal with garlic too. I cook these indirect on the grill or baked for about an hour and they are delicious. I've treated them like any other...

Wife and I did that about 10yrs ago. Was fun, but not sure I'd do the "festival" again. I don't know the area well enough, but ideally a camp spot up in one of the foothills. Imjust not really a festival/ large crowd kinda guy.

    Dogs

Cone-head! My little girl got her lady-parts snipped. I hope she never needs another surgery, but those hard plastic cones are crap. Same price, at least according to the vet invoice, I got this soft Elizabethen collar on Amazon. Couldn't recommend them more.
