Blichman 14.5 Gallon Fermenter Assembly Instructions

I bought a Blichmann 7.5 gallon conical.. Been very happy with it, but not happy with the company. Was supposed to ship with a free thrumometer, which was not included in my shipment. When I complained, I was told that it was shipped and that I had to prove that it didn't. Lesson...

    Shipping yeast - your thoughts?

Brewham, I have experienced dead yeast upon arrival too. I have recently switched to dry yeast for IPA's and the like. I have not had any problem with the yeast that was shipped dry. Like you, I was dismayed at the ice pack shipper when buying liquid yeast packs from my favorite online...

    Wyeast 3711 -- I'm officially impressed

I ferment in a 7 gallon conical. It did not come close to the blowoff port. However, if you ferment in a carboy I would recommend a blowoff.

    Stuck mash disaster

I've been brewing all-grain for about 1 year now. I find that if I use my March pump to re-circ the mash, it gets stuck. I have been using gravity only for the past 4 batches and have not gotten a stuck mash. I'm using 10Gal Rubbermaid round cooler with a perforated SS false bottom. I...

Where to buy MAlTS in CT?

Stopped in to Maltose yesterday. 50# typically $65.00 Some others like Maris 2-Row $80.00. Like the other posters mentioned, they are great folks to deal with, but they are a bit pricey.
