    Bacon Beer? Why Not?

Watch out for this. You don't want to add too many fermentables at the bottling stage! Sounds like some good flavoring additions though! -BobbyB

    Bacon Beer? Why Not?

Trying adding some smoked malt. Last november I was at the hard rock cafe in vegas at a craft brew tasting (awesome btw) and tried a bacon beer. It was genius! Also very very rich and even slightly salty. But good nonetheless! Brew it!! -BobbyB

new home curse...6infected batches and counting

Good point about the air. If boiling your top off water doesn't work try replacing you air filter in your apt AND shutting off hvac during your brewing process. That should minimize airborne micro bugs from infecting your brew. -BobbyB

    Counter Pressure Bottle Filler.

Buy a #6 drilled stopper, slide it on your bottle filler and insert that into the picnic tap. Press your thumb on the side of the stopper to release CO2 when bottling and presto! 65 cent counter pressure bottle filler! -BobbyB

I feel your pain! What happened this time? Stuck sparge? Dog drop his stick in the fermenter before you could close it?
