    Beer gun problems...

Ok. I don't know what else to do. I went to a 15ft line, cold bottles, less than 1psi. Only thing I can think of is I have CO2 tank refrigerated and it's thrown my carbonation all to ****. As of now that keg is dead. I wasted all but about 1 gallon and said **** it and dumped the rest. Your...

    Beer gun problems...

Will have to try that. These people that say they fill at like 5psi I think are filthy liars.

    Beer gun problems...

Ok. So I have a beer gun. Problem I'm having is when I fill it just foams all over the ******* place. I purged keg and set to less than 1 psi. I can't even fill the bottle because it just pours foam all over. Keg has been at 40f at 14psi so should be 2.6 vol. I have about 6ft hose on the beer...

    Infection Idea??

Ok, i'm not a biologist but I play one on tv. So if I got sterile petrie dishes could i take a bit of wort/beer from each step (fermenter, bottling bucket, bottle, etc) put them in a warm place and wait? Would that do anything to determine source of infection?

    Tilt Bluetooth Hydrometer Detailed Review

I just did my first batch. While I had accuracy issues due to krausen I stilla like it.

Do I have to wait after fermentation is done?

I just got a tilt. It's iffy during fermentation but once krausen clears seems good.

Do I have to wait after fermentation is done?

1.048 OG 1.011 FG. I also have really good temp controls and did a good size yeast pitch.

Do I have to wait after fermentation is done?

This is a Blonde Ale. I always hear people saying 3 weeks no matter what. If I'm trying to rush i go 2 days after surface clears.

Do I have to wait after fermentation is done?

Ok, so I heard a few things about this. If I'm at my FG can I go ahead and cold crash and get ready to keg? I read the yeast "clean up" is due to off flavors put off from temperature changes during fermentation. If that's not an issue can I go ahead?

Tilt - Does it replace hydrometer?

Here's an example of what he means by bumping. It's just the physical movement of the fermentation. Oddly right after this I got 1.009 and 1.012 so I'll see what happens.

Tilt - Does it replace hydrometer?

Mine was dead on but maybe calibrate in distilled.
  17. WaltG

Tilt - Does it replace hydrometer?

Yes if i measure off the probe wire so it's 6 inches into wort it's much closer but if i push it to bottow of thermowell it's cooler.

Tilt - Does it replace hydrometer?

Now this may or may not be interesting. I just got one. Literally pitched 2 hours ago. I noticed my thermowell and tilt were about 6 degrees diff. Now my setup is a thermowell in a bucket. If i measure the lead so it's about 6 inches into the wort it's really close. Otherwise it's close to the...
