Yeah, you're probably right. If I'd lived in the house longer I might have a better idea of what's been on the floor in there. I'd hate to accidentally make someone sick.

Yeah, that's how I was feeling. I dont think there's anything toxic, but the person who we bought the house from used to have lot of fertilizer in the garage, so I'm not sure how much of that would still be lingering on the floor almost a year later.

So a little bit ago today, I saw that a bag off grain had fallen over and spilled in the garage. I just scooped it into a bucket. Think its still good to use? The garage floor is dry, I'm just not sure what's been on the garage floor or is mice were messing with and things like that.

I think the only real issue I've had with malt liquor is the inconsistency from bottle to bottle. Has anyone else ever notice that? Sometimes they are just a high gravity maltyish beer and easy to drink, and other times they're skunked or taste like liquid pennies, but when you get a good one...

I get it. I do like lots of hops sometimes and fruits and weird fruits and whatever else, but I'm not that picky about staying to style. I just brew what I feel like.

Second times a charm. It's a hazy IPA with strata and mosaic hops and 4lbs of dollar store frozen strawberries. Might be one of my favorites it turned out great this time around.

Does anyone have a good malt liquor recipe? I guess it's almost hard to justify since you can make better stuff for about the same price really, huh? Still curious though. 2 row and corn syrup?

I had thought about pitching some brett or sour bugs and shoving it aside, but I just dumped it instead and started over. I'll go back to doing it the old way. Next time I get something like that I'll throw it in a carboy and hide it in the basement.
