Precisely, and the LHBS can benefit if the thousands of pounds of grain bought via group buys puts them into a lower pricing tier, lowering their cost on all grain sales, not just the group buys. It should give them an incentive to do so.

Great point, or if you talk about brewing a lot...maybe she doesn't want to hear so much about it. Been happily married for 20 years + 7 years of dating, 3 kids, one of the best things I've learned is when to just shut-up.

If your already depending on alcohol to relax....when the kids are 7ish? the kid type problems start kicking in, little kids a lot of little problems, big kids, less frequent (hopefully) but larger problems. Then that relaxing beer starts sounding really good.....hit the gym instead.

I let the fermenting bucket sit overnight in sanitizer, emptied it during the boil. After I chilled the wort, I drained it into the fermenting bucket, and all sorts of foam rose to the top of the wort. Scooped off most of it, added the yeast at around 70 and let it sit for a couple days...
