    Its fine don't worry. It will settle to the bottom and your beer will be great! Don't fear the "green sludge"

    Try fermenting a bit cooler then gradually raise the temp ifyou can. It has been working for me.

    Pale, ipa, or American red. Although my coffee Porter is on point right now and I can only think of tri tip and ribs when I drink it.

    I use my immersion chiller in a bucket with ice water to pre chill my tap water. I use about 20 lbs of ice and it takes 10 to 15 minutes to cool 5 gallons.

    I have a plate chiller and live in southern california. If your ground water is warm you might need to pre chill the water before the plate chiller or else you wont hit 68 degrees

    I'm drinking mine that was brewed 3 weeks ago and it is very good. I used wlp002 that has left a bit of chill haze so its a little bit yeasty but not much.

    I would think it could get really expensive force carving those kegs. I would just prime them and use co2 to push. I do prime my cornys from time to time when I feel patient enough.
