That’s what tables are for
I’ve used GF before and it lacks in certain areas, heating quickness, doesn’t really get a good rollout g boil, and you need an additional sparge equipment
Also ambient temperature does odd things with co2. The colder it gets the lower the tank pressure gauge drops making it look empty, when it gets hotter the temp rises. This is reflected on the gauges
Finding leaks is a painstaking process and is best done working from regulator toward tap and...
There are other comparable systems like brew boss, which is what I bought.
It heats faster, can do bigger batches, you don’t need an additional piece to heat sparge water and I like the automated system brew boss offers better
But that’s me
I put 3 drops of orange into a 16 oz blue moon. I did a brew using 30 drops into primary after fermentation and it was good
Now cinnamon is really strong, 10-15 drops in a 5 gallon batch is enough
Plus these oils don’t ferment out
Are you dry hopping? If so that may make sense but you’ll do that after fermentation is complete
I don’t even think about bottling/ kegging for at least 3 weeks
I use speidel 80l, easy to carry, easy to clean, somewhat see through. With spigots for super easy transfer
Don’t like glass, too heavy, need siphons, hard to clean
At some point I’ll upgrade to SS
